Lu Received an NSF Grant!

The proposal “III:Small: Counterfactually Fair Machine Learning through Causal Modeling”  is finally awarded (10/1/2021 – 09/30/2024, $484,828, PI Lu Zhang, CoPI: Xintao Wu). Big congratulations to Dr. Lu Zhang for this well developed but long pending proposal! The project will develop novel fair machine learning models based on causal modeling and counterfactual inference.
