The proposal  “Multidisciplinary Data Science Education to Prepare STEM Students for Data Science Careers” is awarded as an NSF S-STEM grant (10/01/2019-09/30/2023, $999,622). The project is led by PI Wanpracha Chaovalitwongse (INEG) and  has CoPIs,  Bryan Hill, Ronna Turner, Edward Pohl, and Xintao Wu. The Multidisciplinary Data Science (MDaS) project aims to help low-income University of Arkansas STEM majors develop data science skills, which are currently needed in Northwest Arkansas and the nation.
